Dr. Jon Isaacson is a board certified otolaryngologist (Ear, Nose, and Throat Physician) and is also board certified in Otology/Neurotology, treating diseases of the ear, hearing, and balance. He is the only board certified Otologist/Neurotologist in Central Pennsylvania. He spent 10 years in academic medicine, serving on the teaching staff of the Medical College of Ohio and the Penn State Milton S Hershey Medical Center. During that time, he has published several scientific articles, book chapters, and has lectured nationally in the field of medicine and surgery of the ear.

Outer Ear:
• Congenital and acquired defects of the auricle and ear canal
• Infections (acute and chronic otitis externa)
• Tumors including skin cancers.
Middle Ear:
• Congenital and acquired ear drum and ossicular chain abnormalities

• Conductive hearing loss, otosclerosis, and stapes surgery
• Tumors of the middle ear including cholesteatoma and glomus tumors.
Inner Ear:
• Congenital and acquired abnormalities causing hearing loss and dizziness
• Sensorineural hearing loss, sudden, progressive, unilateral or bilateral
• Tinnitus, steady or pulsatile
• Tumors including Vestibular Schwannoma (Acoustic Neuroma)
Balance Disorders:
• Meniere's Disease and all medical and surgical treatments
